Sadhana's Fall Retreat Happens...
Saturday, November 6 to Thurday, November 11, 2010
Tulum, Mexico
“Having previously studied yoga with Glen Cunningham for several years, I knew the quality of instruction at the retreat would be outstanding. What I did not expect, however, was how much fun I would have and that I would return to Boston with a group of new close friends. Sadhana’s Mexico yoga retreat exceeded my expectations in every way and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in an intense experience which furthers their yoga practice.”

"Doing the retreat allowed me to deepen my yoga practice, but yoga was just the beginning. While on retreat I experienced a deep sense of community with my fellow yogis and with the powerful transformational energy of Tulum itself. Something inside of me opened up and, I think, has stayed open. I look forward to going back."

"The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were as when we created them.” ~ Einstein
THIS IS NO ORDINARY PLACE. This is not like going on vacation, staying at a hotel and doing some yoga while you're there. This is special. This is our land. The "Shekhinah" healing center has been designed and built by Sadhana to create an amazing destination for our students to come to escape, to unwind, to practice, and to play. Our mission is to provide you with a truly unique, extremely personal and amazingly effective way to "get away from it all," commit to your practice and reconnect to your "self."

"As you move into the depths of stillness, subtle and powerful changes will become apparent in your life. These will be both profound and entirely welcome. You will become familiar with the creative God Force inside you, the energy at your core. The world will look more beautiful because you're seeing it as it is, without the distorting influence of your conditioning. You will feel different, happy for no apparent reason. It will seem as though you have undergone an important change, a rebirth, as though you've become a new person, and yet you will feel more yourself than ever before."
~ Erich Schiffmann
THIS IS NO ORDINARY YOGA. If you're familiar with Sadhana Yoga, you know that it's known for a very approachable and dynamic style of yoga that skillfully blends "education" and "experience." In our teaching, we don't lose sight of the fact that meditation is focus. We believe that skillfulness of breath is the key to a mature and effective practice. It reconnects you with a mind and a heart that are more vulnerable and open to digest things as they are. To land content within the moment you are in.

"Mindfulness is a certain way of paying attention that is healing, that is restorative, that is reminding you of who you actually are so that you don't wind up getting entrained into being a human doing rather than a human being." ~ Jon Kabat Zinn
THIS IS NO ORDINARY RETREAT. From the beauty and privacy of our own land, to the quality and effectiveness of our yoga, this is a "boutique" retreat different from any other. The places we take you, the food we serve you, the people we introduce you to who will perform ceremonies, play music, provide shamanic bodywork and treatments - every detail is designed to be special and to feel personal. Even to the well-traveled tourist or seasoned yoga retreat participant, the places that you go, the things that you do and the people that you meet on our retreats will be extra-ordinary.

The rest is up to you...
